Welcome
I am a clinical psychologist based in Canberra, ACT. I offer psychological therapy for people experiencing a range of mental health issues, trauma and grief, and other life challenges.
You can expect to receive high-quality, individualised care and I will work with you to create a treatment plan specific to your needs and circumstances.
I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all people, no matter a person’s background or identity. My practice is dedicated to creating an inclusive and non-judgemental space where you can feel more at ease sharing your experiences.
About me
I have worked as a psychologist for over 20 years, providing psychological services in hospitals and community mental health settings, other government services (including DVA and Victim Support ACT), and in my own private practice. I have also enjoyed psychology leadership roles within the ACT public health system.
I specialise in individual psychological therapy with adults dealing with trauma, depression and anxiety, loss and life changes, and issues of ageing. I am skilled in working with people experiencing many different issues, and anyone is welcome to reach out to discuss their needs.
I am highly trained in evidence-based practices including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I often incorporate compassion-focussed and somatic approaches in my therapy. I enjoy working collaboratively with people to develop a treatment pathway to address their specific needs.
Supervision and support for psychologists
I love supporting other psychologists, especially those in the early stages of their career. As a clinical psychologist, and a Psychology Board of Australia supervisor, I provide supervision to both clinical psychology registrars and to psychologists with general registration. I have previously enjoyed supervising provisional psychologists undertaking internship pathways to general registration, though I am not presently available to do so as a principal supervisor.

Telehealth
I am very happy to work with people via telehealth where this is requested. We would discuss your needs and the proposed therapy, and I will advise whether this is suitable.
I use Coviu, a secure platform designed for telehealth. You are not required to sign-up, and access to the platform is possible via internet browser. Information about Coviu can be found here: https://www.coviu.com/en-au/patients
The same fee applies for telehealth appointments
